Mission

To provide an independent and objective assurance to the Board and management necessary to measure and evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the Association's activities, internal controls and operations.

To provide independent, professional and quality audit service to the Board and management.

Roles

. To assist the Board in the effective discharge of its oversight responsibility by providing it with analysis, appraisals, reports and recommendations.

. To perform reviews of practices, procedures, internal controls and compliance with relevant rules and regulations on a regular basis.

. To carry out special reviews of areas of concern identified by the Board and management.

. The Director of Audit is independent and reports directly to the Audit Committee and has direct access to the Board through the Chairman of the Audit Committee.
