Introduction

: Family is a group of people affiliated by blood, marriage, law, custom or agreement. To line more comprehensively with our association’s “Enhancement of Life” principle, the HKYWCA refers to 80s and 90s American’s and Canadian’s child welfare policies to advocate for positive and preventive family wellness concept. In September 2007, a self-financed “Family Wellness Centre” was set up in order to enhance “Family Wellness”. Adopting a strength-based work ethic and striving for individual and family welfare, the centre seeks to understand and develop the positive energy and resources in individuals and family from a positive and healthy perspective.
