Guest of Honour Olivia Leung, YWCA President Helen Lee, Chief Executive Yvonne Yeung, board members, and school principals shared joyful smiles at the Early Childhood Education Joint Graduation Ceremony. The graduates' choral performance, marked by heartfelt singing and charming expressions, became the focal point of the entire hall. With their small frames, they played the drums with such passion and energy, adding a powerful momentum to the grand performance. Radiating vitality and confidence, the dragon and lion dance team captured the children's pure dedication and enthusiasm for the arts. Through their dance, the girls celebrated the abundance of a "Bumper Harvest". Their movements expressed a love for life and a hope for prosperity, bringing traditional festivities to life on stage. The colourful costumes and the children's performances were a feast for the eyes. Every bit of their hard work transformed into the brightest light on stage!

YWCA Early Childhood Education Department recently held its Joint Graduation Ceremony at the Sha Tin Town Hall for its nine nursery schools and two kindergartens featuring Ms. Olivia Leung as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony opened with graduates performing “Song of the Child's Heart” and “Dear Teachers, I Will Miss You,” expressing their gratitude for their teachers and kindergarten life, which set a moving tone for the event.

During the significant certificate presentation ceremony, Ms. Helen Lee, President of the Association, and Ms. Yvonne Yeung, Chief Executive, presented certificates to each graduate, recognising their hard work and offering heartfelt congratulations. Guests, parents, and staff witnessed the graduates completing their first stage of learning as they embarked on a new journey with courage and wisdom.

Themed “Passing on Tradition, Embarking with Heart”, this year’s ceremony featured a spectacular performance by the graduates. Transforming into “time travelers”, the graduates vividly showcased social progress and cultural evolution through five acts:

Act I: Festive Lanterns Welcoming the Spring Festival – A lively festive atmosphere portraying the joy of a village celebrating the New Year.
Act II: Diligent Studies, Nurturing Future Pillars – Depicting students studying hard to improve society.
Act III: Joyful Harvest from Land and Sea – Showcasing the diligence of labourers and the joy of a bountiful harvest.
Act IV: Building Together for Prosperity – Describing the transformation of a rural village into a modern city.
Act V: Technology Connecting the World – Highlighting space exploration and global internet connectivity.

The ceremony concluded with all graduates singing “Time to Say Goodbye”. This graduation ceremony was not only a visual feast but also a meaningful cultural education experience. The Association hopes that the graduates will carry forward the spirit of perseverance and passion for technology. We once again wish all graduates a bright future—stay young at heart and step boldly into a brilliant future!
