YWCA has been working with Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association (HKEAA) for years to organise "Together We Care", sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, to visit and bring gifts to the underprivileged. Although the event has been postponed by the unexpected pandemic, we are still keen to send love and care to the elders and grassroots.

Hong Kong’s economy has been hurt because of the coronavirus pandemic and the grassroots suffer the most. The Association is pleased about HKEAA’s responsiveness so that we can continue the tradition of helping the needy. Not being able to join the visits, the elite athletes prepare gift packs with groceries, anti-epidemic goods, necessities and cheer up cards for the recipients instead. The gifts will be sent to 2,500 households in 12 districts, including North District, Sham Shui Po, Kowloon City, Tin Shui Wai, Sai Wan, Sai Wan Ho etc., during Chinese New Year.
