The Association recently hosted a showcase for ACE·2 Connect Programme at the Jao Tsung-I Academy, to celebrate the inspiring personal growth of autistic youth and raise public awareness of the special needs community. The event attracted around 100 guests, family members and over 250 members of the public.

Mr. Ricky Ng, Chief Officer of Children and Family Service of YWCA, and Ms. Sally Tse, General Manager, External Affairs of The Hong Kong Jockey Club presented mementos to the participating youth in recognition of their dedication over the past year. A major highlight of the event featured four student-led booths, where the youths confidently demonstrated five unique talents - visual-spatial reasoning, systemic thinking, expert memory, detailed insight and sincere hospitality - earning public understanding and fostering social inclusion. 

YWCA is grateful for The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s sponsorship, and the invaluable companionship from its corporate volunteers. This impact-driven initiative has provided a wonderful platform for autistic youth to showcase their abilities. The Association hopes that continued collaboration will help nurture an inclusive society.
