YWCA is glad for the invitation from Citybus Limited and New World First Bus Services Limited (Citybus & NWFB) to organise two open-top bus tours in December to celebrate Christmas.
The open-top bus was colourful and full of festive vibes. It took dozens of participants at Tuen Mun, and headed towards Tsim Sha Tsui. Participants enjoyed Christmas carols, mini games, and of course the unforgettable Christmas lights and decorations along the way. Passing by attractions like Hong Kong Observation Wheel, Golden Bauhinia Square, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui Mody Road etc., passengers got off the bus at Peninsula Hotel and strolled along Avenue of Stars with their family and friends, indulging in the night view of the Victoria Harbour.
On the Friday night before Christmas, members of Sforzando Wind Ensemble hopped on the open-top bus with their musical instruments. They made two stops at Wan Chai Promenade and Central Star Ferry Pier respectively, and gave excellent performance for the passers-by.
The Association was grateful for the collaboration with Citybus & NWFB on these bus tours. The grassroot families liked the special Christmas celebration, and the young people treasured the opportunity to perform in this lovely festival.
