YWCA organised an event to celebrate the 75th National Day with traditional Chinese art performance. Mr. Zou Jian, representative of the Department of Social Affairs of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the HKSAR, and Miss Chan Lai Chu, Assistant Director (Youth & Corrections), Social Welfare Department officiated at the celebration event together with Ms. Yvonne Yeung, Chief Executive of YWCA.

The celebration event aimed at promoting traditional Chinese culture. A group of young people brought us wonderful performances, including traditional Chinese outfit fashion show, martial arts, children's dragon dance and music played by the YWCA Chinese Orchestra. Game booths and game booths featuring Chinese cultural, e.g. lacquer fans, hand-pulled cotton candy, were set up for the participants to enjoy the National Day. Ms. Yeung thanked the young volunteers for hosting different activities that allowed the participants to enjoy the fascinating Chinese culture.
