Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team resumed the tradition of organising Cantonese opera show for the elderly, in view of the recent development of COVID-19. The Association welcomed the invitation, as it was an unusual experience for our service users under the pandemic. 

Contention for the Seal is a comedy with spectacular stage movements, witty exchanges and love affairs. It was well received by the audience and filled the theatre with laughter. Holding the event in the Grand Theatre of the Xiqu Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District excited a lot of the audience, as they had never been to the venue. Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team even sent 80 members to pick up the 550 elderly from Sham Shui Po, North District, Tsing Yi, etc. and make sure the event went smooth.

To celebrate the retirement of Mr. CN Ngan, who has been an important figure in Hip Hing-Vibro Volunteer Team, the Association presented a colour ink painting to him in gratitude. The painting was priceless as it included operas played over the years under Mr. Ngan’s leadership. On the other hand, elderly prepared drawings for the actors and actresses as a token of appreciation.
