For the third consecutive year, Citybus has partnered with YWCA to organise the Christmas open-top bus tour, aiming to bring more joy to the community during the Christmas season.

In mid-December, Citybus invited ethnic minority families living in Tuen Mun to enjoy a ride on an open-top bus to Tsim Sha Tsui to view the Christmas lights, immersing themselves in the festive atmosphere. With the accompany of Citybus volunteers, 14 families with more than 40 individuals boarded the open-top bus in Tuen Mun in the afternoon, and headed towards Kowloon via the Stonecutters Bridge at dusk when the sky was flooded with reddish haze, providing a breathtaking view for the participants.

The bus arrived at West Kowloon Cultural District, the first attraction of the tour, at around 6 p.m. Participants took out their mobile phones to take photos with the giant Christmas tree. They then took the bus to the Peninsula Hotel and strolled along the Avenue of Stars to enjoy the magnificent night view of the Victoria Harbour. Finally, the highlight of the trip awaited them - the Christmas lights bus tour. They boarded the upper deck of the open-top bus to view the lights around Tsim Sha Tsui East. Despite the slightly chilly weather that night, they all returned with great satisfaction and gratitude to Citybus for bringing them an unforgettable journey.
