Electronic monitoring system is also installed recently for instant communication between parents and teachers about status of toddlers. To support working parents and build strong connection, the centre invites doctors and nurses to host medical seminars regularly. The previous trial service day also received overwhelming feedback from parents and the community.
Leveraged on YWCA community service, the centre has also jointly organised different parent-child education activities and referral programmes with Tin Shui Wai Family Wellness Centre and Tin Shui Wai Integrated Social Service Centre, to support parents with newborn babies in the community.
The second YWCA’s child daycare centre, situated in Queen’s Hill, Fanling, will be opened at the end of this year at the earliest. The site is larger in size and can accommodate more toddlers.
