As the co-organiser, YWCA worked with Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association, the main sponsor Hong Kong Jockey Club, and the supporting organisation Po Leung Kuk Riverain Primary School to launch the “Together We Care 2023”. Mr. Li Xiao-peng, previous National gymnast, and a group of existing Hong Kong athletes and retired elite athletes attended the event to spread love and care to families in need. 

The event mobilised around 1,400 volunteers, of which 600 were recruited by YWCA this year. Volunteer team distributed gift packs to 2,800 low-income families in 13 districts, including Western District, Sai Wan Ho, Ho Man Tin, Wong Tai Sin, Ngau Tau Kok, Sham Shui Po, Tsing Yi, North District, Sha Tin, Tseung Kwan O, Tin Shui Wai, Tuen Mun and Island District. “Together We Care” has been launched for 19 years. The event distributes not only gift packs, but also love and care to families in need.
