Live Young prepared CNY goodie bags for the underprivileged
Chinese New Year is meaningful and prominent in Chinese culture. However, for the grassroots, it is also a very difficult time. YWCA is grateful that Live Young Rewards Program (“Live Young”) shared love and joy of the festival by organising Chinese New Year Charity Challenge and sending goodie bags to the needy families.
Live Young encourages members to adopt healthy habits, for example, walking, regular exercise and enough sleep. When they act healthy, they earn Bio Age Points, which indicate the difference between their biological age and actual age.
Live Young organised Chinese New Year Charity Challenge and gave out 1,000 goodie bags for bio age of reduction to 150,000 years in total between late December and early January. The goodie bags, which contain braised abalone, rice, Shanghai noodles, etc. have been delivered to the underprivileged in various districts, including Sham Shui Po, Tin Shui Wai, Tuen Mun and Wong Tai Sin, hoping to bring a little warmth to the poor and families facing adversity.
