Many elders place great importance on Chinese New Year and are usually busy with the preparations. However, it is difficult for elderly living in Cheng Pon Hing Care & Attention Home for the Elderly to enjoy the festive momentum. Miricor volunteer team therefore organised a visit to help the seniors dress up in Chinese New Year outfits and capture their joyful smiles with photos. 

Mrs. Ma Lai Ka Yi, Gigi, Chairlady and CEO of Miricor Enterprise Holdings Limited and the volunteers realised the significance of companionship, so they paid a visit to the Home for the Elderly. They prepared traditional Chinese costumes for the elderly and groomed them for photo shooting. The volunteers then made beautiful greeting cards with the photo printouts. Mrs. Ma presented the photos, greeting cards and gift packs to the elderly. 

Miricor volunteers also brought along lots of delicious food so as to let the elderly enjoy a big feast for dinner. Efforts of the volunteers were heartwarming and cheered the elderly up. The entire elderly home was filled with laughter and joyful atmosphere. Many elderly were very excited for they had not been dressed up for a while. The event will be very much cherished by both the elders and the volunteers.
