Under-resourced families received goody bags and food coupons from BEA
Nature shows no mercy, but love is all around. The pandemic has severely affected the livelihoods of the under-resourced families. Yet, the Association is pleased to secure generous donations from different partners. With the support from The Bank of East Asia (“BEA”), our Tsing Yi Integrated Social Service Centre is able to present the goody bags to the needy in Tsing Yi during Lunar New Year.
BEA showed care to the needy and supported local restaurants by donating 200 goody bags and food coupons to 150 under-resourced families with school children living in Tsing Yi. The beneficiaries could redeem meal boxes and drink from the small restaurants nearby. In addition, apart from noodles, cereals, canned food and drinks, the goody bags also contained the well wishes written by the staff members of BEA.
In view of the social distance measures, the beneficiaries visited the centre at designated time slots before Lunar New Year to collect the goody bags and food coupons. The Association once again thanked BEA for sending love and warmth to the people in need. We look forward to cooperating with BEA again to show care to the society through diversified social services.
