YWCA Warehouse Support was invited by Citybus to set up a charity booth in the “Best Bus Captain of the Year 2024”. Young people with ASD showcased their talents with a variety of products and quick drawing service. The booth received positive feedbacks from the guests and Citybus bus captains. 

Three young people joined the event, including the “Display Master” who has strict control over standards and symmetry, the “Presentation Master” who speaks fluent English and the “Quick Drawing Master” who has a unique style in drawing. Many guests came to shop and join the quick drawing service. All products and drawings were well received. Thanks to Citybus for inviting ASD youths to join the enjoyable event. They were also flattered to receive the first trophy from CItybus, which was definitely a recognition for their contribution and provided them with love and encouragement. 

YWCA Warehouse Support, set up a year ago, was a team of warehouse keepers formed by autistic young people, managing Y SENse online store. Eight members have been receiving trainings by social workers and job coach, and have now become the mainstay of Warehouse Support. They are punctual, disciplined, passionate about their work and talented. We hope there will be more opportunities for the public to see them shine in the future.
