Strive and Rise Programme is organised through tripartite collaboration between the Government, the business sector and the community. The second phase has started and YWCA is one of the district organisers in Kowloon West. The Association sets up a new service centre in Saxon Tower, Lai Chi Kok and will organise different events for the participants. 

The programme has recruited 670 students and orientation sessions were held at the end of January for the participants, parents and mentors. Students and parents were invited to visit the brand new centre in Saxon Tower, Lai Chi Kok. Another workshop was organised in early February, where 400 parents attended to learn how this programme would enhance career planning for their children. Mentees will join different visits and volunteering work in the future, to help them broaden their horizons, reinforce their self-confidence, develop a positive outlook on life, set goals for their future and strive for upward mobility.
