With Christmas around the corner, YWCA presents A PO Soap Christmas Gift Boxes featuring handmade soap made by “A POs”, i.e. old ladies! The soap bars offer you tender loving care, while showing the glory of active ageing.

Old ladies from YWCA Cheung Ching Neighbourhood Elderly Centre have been making soaps for six years and enjoy spending time with each other. The new hobby has provided them a lot of fun and is also a sign of ageing well. They can show off their skills and products to their friends and families. The soap bars they made become popular gifts to be given to senior citizens and underprivileged families during home visits too. They even hold charity sales in different markets and fairs, promoting handmade soap to the public and raising money for the Association’s elderly services. Getting old is frightening? This group of old ladies proofs that life can be exciting and fruitful if you embrace the opportunities at hand.

Two gift sets with four types of soap bars available

A POs prepared four types of handmade soap bars with different functions, including anti-inflammatory calendula soap bar, bamboo charcoal cleansing soap bar, ginger warming soap bar, and moisturising hand soap in Christmas looks.
