YWCA “Career and life development supportive service for young mothers” assists “young mothers” to perform the role of a mother while pursuing study, career and other possible life goals. The programme was granted “The 6th Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Community Services Award” by Lions Clubs International District 303 - Hong Kong & Macao, China.

The Association has been committed to offering young mothers aged 15 – 24 one-stop career and life development supportive service, including postnatal care, learning opportunities, pre-employment training, etc. In order to facilitate the participation of the mothers, we also provide babysitting and childcare support. We look forward to more support from our partners and the community to foster career development and opportunities for young mothers. Ms. Emily Lee, Deputy Chief Executive of the Association was glad to receive the award which is encouraging. Apart from thanking the organiser and our partners, she also expressed her gratitude to Mr. Foster Lam, Service Director (Youth & Community Service and Early Childhood Education), Ms. Kit Ko, Chief Officer (Youth and Community Service), and the entire service team for their hard work and dedication.
