Support the Care for The Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign 2025

YWCA promotes elderly wellness and community health by offering all-round services. The Association will join the Care for The Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign 2025 (the Campaign) from Oct 26 to Nov 30, to raise funds for our self-financed YWCA Jockey Club Y Care Elderly Centre (Sha Tau Kok), Y Senior Care, Sai Wan Social Centre for the Elderly and Y Farm for Healthy Ageing. We aim to provide appropriate services for elderly individuals with different needs, including young olds pursuing active ageing, frail elderly who need rehabilitation and nursing care, and even carers who require support from the community.

YWCA Jockey Club Y Care Elderly Centre (Sha Tau Kok)

  • A multidisciplinary team composed of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, and social workers provides high-quality and diverse rehabilitation and nursing services.
  • We conduct professional assessments and design suitable rehabilitation plans for patients and their families.
  • Various advanced rehabilitation equipment will be used to enhance patients' self-care abilities, help them adapt to life after illness, and reduce caregiver stress.
  • Different service models, including half-day, full-day, and outpatient services, are available to cater to individual needs and provide comprehensive support for families and caregivers to alleviate caregiving pressure.

Sai Wan Social Centre for the Elderly

Sai Wan Social Centre for the Elderly

  • Comprehensive community support is offered for seniors aged 55 or above, promoting their physical, mental, and spiritual health.
  • Intergenerational inclusiveness is promoted through regular health education, social activities, interest groups, volunteer services, etc.
  • We aim to create a senior-friendly community, allowing the elderly to age in a familiar environment.

Y Farm

Y Farm for Healthy Ageing

  • It is operated by elderly, who also serve as mentors to impart agricultural knowledge.
  • Through farming experiences and rural activities, we promote environmental protection, healthy living, and a balanced mind, body, and spirit, and encourage elderly to stay active and engaged in the community.

The Campaign raises funds by selling charity tickets, which is worth HK$20 each. Pre-order can be made online (press here) from today onwards. It can also be purchased in our service centres from Oct 25 to Nov 30. Pure donation is also welcome, and receipt will be issued for donations of HK$100 or above.

Your generous support would definitely give love and care to the needy. Let’s join us to serve the elderly!
