YWCA promotes elderly wellness and community health by offering all-round services. The Association will join the Care for The Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign 2026 (the Campaign) from Oct 24 to Nov 29, to raise funds for our self-financed YWCA Jockey Club Y Care Elderly Centre (Ho Man Tin), YWCA Y Care Elderly Centre (North District) and YWCA Jockey Club Y Evergreen Learning Centre. We aim to provide appropriate services for elderly individuals with different needs, including young olds pursuing active ageing, frail elderly who need rehabilitation and nursing care, and even carers who require support from the community.
Both YWCA Jockey Club Y Care Elderly Centre (Ho Man Tin) and YWCA Y Care Elderly Centre (North District) operate as self-financed, comprehensive day rehabilitation and nursing centres, staffed by multi-disciplinary teams of physical, occupational, and speech therapists, nurses, and social workers. With advanced therapeutic equipment and flexible half-day, full-day, and outpatient models, they deliver professional assessments and customised care plans to enhance patients’ self-reliance and alleviate carer pressure.
YWCA Jockey Club Y Evergreen Learning Centre fosters lifelong learning in 50+ seniors and helps them embrace post-retirement potential and life goals with diversified programmes, mentor training and community engagement.
Every contribution provides vital support for local seniors. Join hands and walk along with YWCA to extend sustainable care to more elderly in need!
