The Association’s Youth and Community Service Department Honorary Volunteer Network organised “Play in the Community” at Central Pier, to encourage parents spending more time to play with their children.
The Association set up various game zones for the participants. Volunteers conducted old mini games to let the children know more about the childhood of their parents, who also enjoyed the games. Some Makers taught the children to make kaleidoscopes, air cannons etc. On the other side, children were encouraged to showcase their creativity and use different materials like cardboard to make unique toys, e.g. table footballs, guns, etc. All participants were excited and enjoyed a happy afternoon. The children also learnt to communicate and cooperate with others through the games.
