The Institute of Shopping Centre Management (ISCM) volunteer team gave away the CNY “lucky bags” to around 300 underprivileged elders and their carers at HKYWCA Chi Po Neighbourhood Elderly Centre and Lam Woo Memorial Day Care Centre for the Elderly in Sham Shui Po on February 10, 2018. Thanks for JHC, Tai Tung Bakery, Dashijie and Gong Fu Teahouse’s sponsored gifts and ISCM for donating 300 pieces of restaurant voucher.
250 elders received the “lucky bags” in Chi Po Neighbourhood Elderly Centre and they felt happy and blessed. The volunteers were pleased to organise the meaningful event to send the warmest blessings to the elders.
Also, another volunteer team from ISCM went to Lam Woo Memorial Day Care Centre for the Elderly and gave away the “lucky bags” to the elders and their carers. The volunteer also passed some positive messages to the needy and hoped to release their pressure. At last, the volunteers sang traditional CNY songs to celebrate the Spring Festival with the elders.
