Celebrating the traditional festivals, especially Chinese New Year, has a symbolic meaning for elderly. To help the Association prepare for the upcoming Chinese New Year festival, the volunteer team of AMC (Exhibits) Ltd. joined Cheng Pon Hing Care & Attention Home for the Elderly to do festive decoration.
AMC volunteer team set up the New Year backdrop and used a variety of Spring Festival ornaments, including lanterns made by red packets, firecrackers and peach blossoms to decorate the centre. Once the decoration was ready, the volunteers helped the elders to put on make-up, before taking photos with the nicely designed backdrop. At last, the volunteers framed the photos and sent them to the elders with small gift and loads of sincere blessings.
The elders lived in Cheng Pon Hing Care & Attention Home for the Elderly are with low mobility and have very few opportunity to go out. The event allowed them to enjoy the fun of the festival. The Association would like to thank AMC (Exhibits) Ltd. and the volunteer team for organising the event and sending the warmest blessing to the elders.
