The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) recognised HKYWCA as a Good MPF Employer again this year. Also, the Association received the e-Contribution Award and Support for MPF Management Award, two new awards implemented in 2016-17.
HKYWCA not only complied with the employer’s statutory obligations and enhanced employees’ retirement protection with extra measures, but also helped employees manage their MPFs, by organising MPF talks, disseminating the latest information about the MPF system, assisting employees to transfer their MPF benefits under the Employee Choice Arrangement, etc. We provided detailed information that allows employees to choose and manage their MPF plan effectively.
The Award requires employers to fully comply with the relevant requirements under MPF legislation, such as enrolling employees in an MPF scheme, making contributions on time, etc. Besides, employers must have taken extra steps towards enhancing the retirement protection of the employees. The Association has gained the award in three consecutive years and received two new awards this year. We will sustain our hard work on enhancing our MPF policies and giving the best support to our employees.
