Watsons Water volunteer team organised a Cathay Pacific City tour and “My cup noodles workshop” for the underprivileged children from Sham Shui Po. The trip was full of fun and the children learnt a lot about the aviation industry.
Firstly, Watsons Water volunteers brought the children to Cathay Pacific’s headquarter – Cathay Pacific City (CX City). The staff from Cathay Pacific introduced their daily work and the facilities in CX City. They toured around the flight training centre, cabin mock-up, check-in counter mock-up and crew lounge. The children were curious about the industry and hence excited about the trip, which enriched their knowledge.
After visiting the CX City, the volunteers and children joined the cup noodles workshop in “Dream Come True”. The children made their cup noodles with creativity. They designed the cup and selected the soup and ingredients under the volunteers’ assistance. At last, the children brought their unique cup noodles home with satisfaction.
A.S. Watson Group and its subsidiaries organise Global Volunteer Day every year. In 2017, sharing “Lots of Love” and “Lots of Laughs” with the community is the project theme. The Association appreciates A.S. Watson Group and Watsons Water’s enthusiasm in shaping the society into a better place.
