The Elderly Free Food Coupon Programme has been launched by PARKnSHOP and HKYWCA for 5 consecutive years. Every year, apart from free food coupons given to elders in need in different districts, PARKnSHOP also organises Elderly Food Coupon Shopping Day to share love and care to elders.
This year, the programme is rotated to Western District. PARKnSHOP volunteer team accompanied 20 elders from the Association’s Sai Wan Social Centre on the Shopping Day to redeem food and necessities with coupons, to make mosquito-repellent packets with Chinese herbs and enjoy food together at PARKnSHOP in Kennedy Town. All participants were happy with the fruitful journey.
