HKYWCA has provided hotline counselling services since 1984, to encourage people in need to seek for help, and to enhance their problem solving skills. The project is supervised by the Association’s social workers, and supported by carefully selected and well-trained volunteers. A new batch of volunteers is wanted!
Requirements for becoming a hotline volunteer:
● Degree holder or above, or F.5 or above with 2 years’ working experience;
● Responsible, willing to learn and serve;
● Attend the introduction seminar, interview, and training sessions;
● Member of HKYWCA (apply during application is possible); and
● Serve in the hotline service for at least one year after completing the training sessions and internship.
An introduction seminar will be held in May. All are welcome to join!
