The staff is a precious asset of a company. Employees with greater sense of belonging often have higher productivity, and the company can therefore enjoy better competitiveness. Not only does HKYWCA provide services to people in need, we also care about the working members in the society, and hence develop the Employee Wellness Programme for our corporate partners.
The Caring Company Partnership Expo 2017 was held on March 10. With “Healthy Staff” as the theme, the Association introduced three services corporates can join to help its employees to relax, namely Y Eco Tour, Y Serenity and Y Fitness.
Y Eco Tour
The Association trains Tai O residents to organise guided tours and workshops that promotes the cultural and ecological resources in the area. The project is also successful in lessening the unemployment in Tai O due to the area’s economic transformation.

Y Serenity
Run as a social enterprise, Y Serenity hires retraining programme graduates to provide massage services. Outreach services are available for corporates, club houses, elderly centres, homes for the elderly, etc. It provides job opportunity for the apprentice masseur, and at the same time, disseminates the message of healthy life in the community.

Y Fitness
The lack of training programme for the middle-age and the silver market leads to the establishment of Y Fitness. It trains youngsters to be professional trainers, and provides tailor-made outreach training classes for mature consumers who are interested in doing exercises.
