Sponsored by Adecco Personnel Limited, over hundred children joined the inspiring “Dreams Come True” Charity Event held on July 16.
The aims of the event were to broaden the horizon and increase creativity of the kids, conduct life education that promotes positive values and attitudes, and raise hope and build dreams. 115 children, including many from low-income families in Tin Shui Wai and Sham Shui Po, visited Dream Come True on the Lantau Island and explored different occupations in 15 interactive zones. The kids learnt about the equipment and the working environment of various jobs, and hence understood choices are available and they are allowed to dream about their future. The event was meaningful and filled with laughter.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Adecco Personnel Limited in Hong Kong, more collaboration projects will be launched to help children and teenagers to be aware of their potentials and realise their dreams. Ms. Audrey Low, Managing Director, Hong Kong and Macau, Adecco Personnel Limited, and Ms. Ling Woo, Supervisor of the Association’s Career Development and Continuing Education Department, officiated at the launching ceremony of “Dream Fighter – Youth Employment Project”, which will prepare the youngsters for jobs and entrepreneurship by providing useful workshops.
