ChelseaFC Soccer School (HK) (“the School”) has worked with HKYWCA for a long time and has held different programmes in the past to care for the underprivileged in Hong Kong. The School organised two events in June, and visited elders living in Sham Shui Po, Prince Edward and Kwun Tong.
In early June, one of the coaches of the School Ricko Pau and a group of volunteers visited HKYWCA Sham Shui Po Integrated Home Care Services Team. They then celebrated Dragon Boat Festival with elders living in Sham Shui Po and Prince Edward with rice dumplings.
The volunteers went for another visit in mid-June. Accompanied by the School’s Technical Director Leslie George Santos, the team went to the Association’s Lok Wah Integrated Social Service Centre, and visited elders living in the Lok Wah Estate. The volunteers sent out groceries, and spent an afternoon to chat with the elderly, to learn about their lives and needs.
The Association is grateful for the generous support of ChelseaFC Soccer School (HK). We hope that with more collaboration, we can help more people in need in the future.
