Red-dates tea with love was delivered to the public on March 8
First launched in 2010, it is the seventh year for HKYWCA to organise “ChariTea” and promote “Caring for the community, Caring for the staff members and Caring for yourself”. Staff and volunteers visited different districts on March 8 and distributed red-dates tea to the public, sharing the message of Women’s Day. Volunteers were situated all over Hong Kong, including grass root districts like Tin Shui Wai, Sham Shui Po, etc. While handing out red-dates tea bags, we also sent out support and care. HKYWCA calls upon everyone to show care to the female around and encourage them to achieve their full potential. Every woman is capable of shining in particular fields when placed in the right position. HKYWCA is thankful that ChariTea 2016 has received support from different corporations, including The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Bank of East Asia, Blue Cross (Asia-Pacific) Insurance Limited, Dove, NWS Holdings Limited, HLB Hodgson Impey Cheng, Betterment Catering Management Limited, Lee Hong Dispensary Superstore Co., Ltd., Union Enterprises, Urban Property Management Limited, Antalis (Hong Kong) Ltd., Chong Kio Co., etc. The proceeds of the programme will go to the Association’s self-financed women services, such as single parents support, counseling and psychological health services, etc. For further details on ChariTea 2016, please visit http://rdd.ywca.org.hk/ChariTea2016/.
