Urban Group and HKYWCA co-organised “Urban Group Caring Day 2018” addressing the theme “Spreading Love among Different Generations in the Community” to promote transgenerational harmony. 100 corporate volunteers of Urban Group led kids to serve elderly for spreading love and educating them to care elderly.  The joint project has been appreciated at “FSE Grand Award Presentation Ceremony 2019” which organised by FSE Holdings Limited and obtained “FSE Outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility Programme Awards”. HKYWCA also received “Star Partner Award” in recognition of their innovative service idea and contribution of building a harmonious society.  

FSE Holdings Limited acknowledges the effort of its subsidiaries and staff in taking care of the needy in the community by distributing different social service awards. In particular, Urban Group holds Caring Day every year to gather over 100 corporate volunteers to serve the community. Moreover, Caring Day 2018 had an innovative breakthrough in cultivating kids from beneficiaries to little volunteers by serving the elderly. Participants from three generation worked together to make potted cake, and learned from each other, which helped boost social cohesion and build a harmonious community. 

As the co-organiser of the event, HKYWCA received “Star Partner Award”. The Association would like to thank Urban Group for the invitation to this meaningful event. We hope to continue our collaboration and work hand in hand with Urban Group in the future, to bring greater positive impact to the society.
