The Association’s Tin Shui Wai Integrated Social Service Centre organised a carnival cum exhibition to promote Life and Death Education.

Seven booths were set up to provide different kinds of activities in regards of “Life and Death”. One of them provided an easy environment of a tea house, allowing participants to discuss their views on death and meaningful life. Another booth targeting younger participants was led by the association’s staff who read picture book to urge children to cherish their life.

In addition, there was an exhibition area to display useful information concerning arrangements after death, e.g. advance directives in relation to medical treatment, funeral, organ donation, body donation programme, etc, to encourage participants to customise their plan with family members. Suicide risk assessment and emotional support services were also available for those in need.
