YWCA has always been aware of women’s needs, and endeavors to promote women’s perspective, mutual respect between genders and gender awareness through the building of  “Support”, “Advocacy”, “Participation” and “Capacity Building” for women. In response to World YWCA’s advocacy for women’s empowerment, young female leaders nurturing and YWCA solidarity, we initiate platforms that gather remarkable women, e.g. Glocal Y, Outstanding Women Volunteers Association, etc. We also organise women-based evangelic events, and exchange ideas with members from different YWCAs in the world, in order to let our members to fully develop their potentials, and attain Sustainable Development Goal 5 of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda: achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
