YWCA has been holding Christianity as our service foundation since its inception. Inspired by the love of Christ, we devote ourselves to serve the needy, and aspire to help people grow through practising their faith.

Christian Ministry is an important part of YWCA Movement, which is energetic and never stands still. With the four fundamental development strategies, we facilitate the movement and benefit the community.

1. Bridge local churches and communities – by connecting with community churches, Christian organisations and two local YMCAs, the YMCA of Hong Kong and Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, we have greater strength in promoting faith;
2. Equip believers – we recruit enthusiastic Christians and provide them with volunteering trainings to spread the love of Chris;
3. Coordinate people’s effort – we coordinate resources within the Assocation and provide communication platform, e.g. seminars and talks;
4. Preach the gospel – we initiate evangelic ministry within our board of directors, staff members and in communities to preach the gospel. 

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15)
