YWCA’s service for young children started in 1940s in view of the needs of working mothers, and has now transformed itself into service that emphasises both education and babysitting. In the 9 nursery schools and 2 kindergartens that the Association runs, thematic teaching approach and enquiry based learning provide young children diversified learning experiences that allow them to attain knowledge, life skills and good qualities. Upholding the Christian value, we strive to incorporate the needs of the children, their parents and our teachers into our work as home-school cooperation is important for the holistic development for the kids. We also wish to enrich the children’s lives by introducing Christ to them since childhood.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6)
