YWCA Career and Life Development Service Team shared the practices of the Association and exchanged ideas with different stakeholders in CLAP for Youth@JC 2020 conference.
Sponsored by Simon K.Y. Lee Karen’s Fund, the Association’s Career Development and Continuing Education Department launches “Project LIGHT” for working youths with bachelor degree and aged between 22 and 35 years old. The project aims at assisting young people to understand themselves and broaden horizon, hence better plan their career.
HKYWCA CLAP Team organised “CLAP MILES @ City Tour” to raise public’s awareness on regular exercise and interest in the community with a running event in the Central and Western District.
HKYWCA CLAP Team organised the first Taiwan tour of CLAP MILES programme with Coffee as the theme. The programme aims to empower the youths, identify their career interests and help them to better plan their future.
Participants earned CLAP MILES for an exchange tour to Taiwan by attending a variety of activities, including coffee brewing classes, handmade soap classes, coffee shop visiting and work internship in Hong Kong to acquire more knowledge about the coffee industry and understanding about its job duties.
