Extracurricular activities do not only kill time, but bring positive and lifelong impacts to children. A group of children from YWCA Tseung Kwan O Integrated Social Service Centre organised a carnival to demonstrate their talents and ability in performing arts, handicraft and even event management acquired from the summer programmes.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic last year, classes have been suspended for more than a year and YWCA has been assisting children to learn without school, while maintaining social distance. Recently, Tseung Kwan O Integrated Social Service Centre held an online carniva that broke fresh ground. By equipping children volunteers with different skills, they became tutors in "K POWER Children Creative Carnival". The training enhanced participants’ C.A.R.E elements, i.e. Creativity, Adversity quotient, Relationship and Empathy.
