An innovative English learning project encouraged young mothers to pursue further study

Everyone deserves a chance to start over, despite one's age. YWCA’s Yo Life Club, which aims to support young mothers, joined hands with an educational institution to bring young mothers and university students together in an innovative English learning project. The project allowed young mothers to fulfil their duties as mothers, and learn English and equip themselves at the same time.

Young mums learned to crochet and open up infinite possibilities

A wool yarn ball can turn into a flowerpot, a bird, or many other forms if one has ingenuity. Young people has infinite potentials too, as long as enough support is provided. YWCA’s Yo Life Club, set up to support young mothers, organised crocheting classes for a group of young mothers and older women, and let them join the Swire Properties’ SEWomen initiative to create green trinkets with upcycled wool.
