The Headquarters on MacDonnell Road was officially opened in 1953 to serve women in need. As the organisation grew, the headquarter now functions not only as the central administrative office, but also houses "YWCA Gallery", where the public can learn about the Association’s history and culture. The centre offers a wide range of courses for members and service users of different ages, nationalities and languages, catering for the needs of children, families, adults and even domestic helpers.
