Members of Yan Mei (Miss Asia) Charity Organization joined the kick-off ceremony of “Love Without Fear” Parent Education Programme in the Association’s Jockey Club Tin Shui Wai Family Wellness Centre.
“Love Without Fear” Parent Education Programme provides services to parents with depression symptoms and their 0- to 6-year-old children. Stress and emotion regulation learning is one of the ways to help service users to restore confidence in parenting. It is believed that emotional stable parents are more likely to provide a safe and healthy environment for children’s development, and to rebuild an affectionate bond between parent and child.
The Association is grateful for Yan Mei (Miss Asia) Charity Organization’s four hundred thousand dollars donation as part of the funds for the programme, and also the attendance of its members at the kick-off ceremony to celebrate the official launch. A fun day was also held on the same day, providing different entertainments for families in the district. Participants enjoyed the magic show, diabolo playing, balloons twisting, marshmallow and popcorn making etc. as an early celebration of the Mother’s Day.
