YWCA has been concerned about the welfare of the aged. The Association joined the Care for the Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign 2023 to raise funds for our elderly service. The entire Association took initiatives to organise different charity sales and talent shows to raise fund from the public. We successfully raised more than $1,100,000 and became Champion of “Top Fundraising Organisations”. Thanks for all generous supports and efforts made by our working partners and volunteers to advocate elderly’s well-beings. 

YWCA has been broadening its scope of career and life development services and looking into the needs of young mothers in recent years. The Association is grateful to partner with Zonta Club of the New Territories II to organise Art Jam-anthon to raise funds for the services. 

One red pocket stands for a blessing! From January 5 to February 20, 2020, Hung Fook Tong will raise funds for the Association’s women services via donation boxes placed at its retail outlets.

In the coming Chinese New Year, we look forward to joining hands with you and share our happiness with those in needs. With just one red pocket, you can bring hope to women facing marital adversity, single mothers and their children. Let’s enjoy shopping and helping people at the same time!

HKYWCA launched the ChariTea Mid-Autumn Box Set to celebrate the upcoming festival, as well as to raise funds for the needy.

Since 2014, the Association has started a canteen to serve free meals to elders in Sham Shui Po once a week. We have also provided food coupons to families with financial problems. Up to now, more than 10,000 people have benefited from the programme and over 97% of the food coupons are redeemed.
