YWCA’s service for young children started in 1940s in view of the needs of working mothers, and has now transformed itself into service that emphasises both education and babysitting. In the 9 nursery schools and 2 kindergartens that the Association runs, thematic teaching approach and enquiry based learning provide young children diversified learning experiences that allow them to attain knowledge, life skills and good qualities.
