調查：近2成幼兒就讀多於1所幼稚園

承蒙香港賽馬會慈善信託基金的捐助，香港基督教女青年會賽馬會天水圍家庭健康促進中心於2011年成立，主要服務及支援天水圍區內育有0至6歲幼兒的家庭。為了解該區家長的需要，該中心於今年5至6月進行了「天水圍幼兒家長育兒關注及教導方法社區調查」，發現該區幼兒家長對教養方法的自評分數一般，當中年輕家長的自評分數較低。另一方面，調查亦顯示，近2成幼兒同時就讀多於1所幼稚園。
天水圍幼兒家長教養方法自評分數一般
調查共收到1,428有效問卷，受訪對象為育有0至6歲子女的家長。調查顯示，該區家長普遍常用正面的教養方法，如「用言語/行動表達愛」、「講道理」及「給予讚賞」等；但仍須關注的是，16.1%家長會「經常/常常」責備子女，亦有31.3%會間中威嚇子女和19.6%會體罰子女。(見表一)
