The Association organised a carnival cum exhibition to promote the message of cherishing life

The Association’s Tin Shui Wai Integrated Social Service Centre organised a carnival cum exhibition to promote Life and Death Education.

Seven booths were set up to provide different kinds of activities in regards of “Life and Death”. One of them provided an easy environment of a tea house, allowing participants to discuss their views on death and meaningful life. Another booth targeting younger participants was led by the association’s staff who read picture book to urge children to cherish their life.

Housing Society Academy Alumni Club made Life Storybooks for elders in Chun Seen Mei Chuen

The Housing Society’s rental estate Chun Seen Mei Chuen, located in Kowloon City, will undergo redevelopment soon. Prior to that, the Housing Society Academy Alumni Club collaborated with the Association to create Life Storybooks for several elderly residents in the estate as a memoir of their good old days.

Please support The Care for The Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign 2019

HKYWCA joins the Care for The Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign 2019 (“the Campaign”) to raise fund for the Association’s self-financed elderly services. The fund raised will help to provide comprehensive support to the community through the following three centres, namely Y Care Day Care Centre for the Elderly (Yau Yat Chuen), NWS Y Care Day Care Centre for the Elderly (North District) and YWCA Jockey Club Y Care Elderly Centre. The Association invites your participation to help the needy!

Hong Kong Housing Society brought love and care to solitary elderly during Mid-Autumn Festival

Supported by the Hong Kong Housing Society (HKHS), the “HS Academy Alumni Club” joined hand with HKYWCA for the first time to organise a home visit programme during the Mid-Autumn Festival, where volunteers made mooncakes and sent blessings to the elderly residents in Kwun Lung Lau at Sai Wan.
