“Jockey Club Age-friendly City Partnership Scheme” was implemented by Jockey Club Charities Trust to encourage different community sectors in building an age-friendly city that can cater for the needs of all ages, and the award presentation ceremony was held earlier. Apart from the City Partnership Scheme Sticker, seven special awards were presented at the ceremony to recognise companies or organisations that demonstrate outstanding performance in promoting an age-friendly culture. Two of HKYCWA Social Enterprises received Our City's Story Award and Age-friendly Collaborator Award.

The Chinese Cheongsam Association (HK) (“Cheongsam Association”) celebrated Dragon Boat Festival with HKYWCA’s elder members to send care and blessing.

In view of its importance in Chinese culture and popularity among elders, Hang Lung Properties Limited invited a group of elders from the Association to join a day tour to the Xiqu Centre in the West Kowloon Cultural District, and enjoy a performance about Cantonese opera.

Volunteers from Morgan Stanley visited Cheung Ching Neighbourhood Elderly Centre to participate in a fun floor curling workshop with the elderly to promote regular exercise among the group.

由香港基督教女青年會（女青）主辦的「Say YES To Work青年招聘博覽暨生涯規劃探索2019」於五月廿一日假上環市政大廈十二樓舉行。活動一如以往，為本地青年人提供不同就業機會，不論是全職、兼職工作以至暑期工均一應俱全。

25間企業合共提供逾3千個職位空缺予青年人，當中961份為兼職工作，而暑期工職位數目亦有545份，最低時薪為最低工資37.5元，而最高時薪則高達150元。願意聘請暑期工的僱主多集中於飲食行業，職位空缺數量佔全部暑期工職位空缺的44%。

大會今年除提供職位空缺外，更分別推出五天及一個月的工作實習機會。此外，大會亦特別與八間知名企業包括香港迪士尼、H&M等合作，推出嶄新的體驗式面試，透過實際工作處境分析及技能測試，讓青年人更具體掌握相關職位所需的V(Value價值觀)、A(Attitude態度)、S(Skills技能)及K(Knowledge知識)，亦讓僱主更深入認識應徵者的特點和能力，以達致更有效的人才配對。

The Caring Company Partnership Expo 2019 was held on May 20. HKYWCA nominated over 100 corporate partners and all of them were awarded the “Caring Company” or “Caring Organization” Logo. This remarkable achievement acknowledged our efforts in promoting corporate social responsibility.

Hang Seng Volunteer Team participated in an orienteering activity “Running Child” to increase primary school students’ knowledge of Hong Kong and improve their emotion management and social skills.

Watsons Water volunteer team worked with HKYWCA to organise a beach cleaning activity for primary school students in Tuen Mun, to educate them about environmental protection.

With sponsorship from the Innovation and Technology Fund for Better Living, the Association launches HOPE Game Mobile App and organised a ceremony cum seminar earlier to announce release. We shared with education workers, social workers, counselors and parents how dyslexic children can be helped.

The Association’s Chi Po Neighbourhood Elderly Centre receives support from Excellence Fitness to organise exercise classes for the elders and their caregivers, to help them remain in good health and prevent falls.
