As the co-organiser, YWCA worked with Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association, the main sponsor The Hong Kong Jockey Club, and the supporting organisation Po Leung Kuk Riverain Primary School to launch the event, “Together We Care 2024”. Mr. Li Xiao-peng, previous national gymnast, and a group of retired elite athletes attended the event to spread love and care to 2,800 families in need.

Mr. Li Xiao-peng, previous National gymnast, and a group of existing Hong Kong athletes and retired elite athletes attended the event to spread love and care to families in need. 

“Together We Care 2022”, organised by Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association, was successfully held last Sunday. A group of Hong Kong athletes and more than 1,400 volunteers visited 2,800 households and promoted mutual help within the community.

Co-organised by Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association and YWCA, “Together We Care 2021” officially commenced in mid-November. Over 1,100 volunteers participated and visited 2,800 singleton households and low-income families in 12 districts, including Sai Wan, Wong Tai Sin, Sham Shui Po, North District and Tin Shui Wai. 

YWCA has been working with Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association (HKEAA) for years to organise "Together We Care", sponsored by the Hong Kong Jockey Club, to visit and bring gifts to the underprivileged. Although the event has been postponed by the unexpected pandemic, we are still keen to send love and care to the elders and grassroots.

Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association (HKEAA) and HKYWCA co-organised “Together We Care 2018”. 1,600 volunteers including a number of elite athletes, e.g. Asian Games 2018 Jakarta Palembang medalists, e.g. Nicholas Edward Choi (Fencing), Tim Law (Triathlon), Lui Lai Yiu (Athletics), etc. visited 2,500 elders and low income families in 15 districts. They did not only present food and necessities to the needy, but also sent their warm blessings by showing concerns to the families’ needs.
