Sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, YWCA Jockey Club Y Care Elderly Centre launches Jockey Club “Happy Home Community” Rehabilitation Program for the needy, so that they can enjoy comprehensive rehabilitation training and support services even when they are back home.

While elders who lack support will be given priority, the following patients are eligible for the service:

The Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) recognises HKYWCA as a Good MPF Employer, as well as offers the Association the e-Contribution Award and Support for MPF Management Award again this year.

HKYWCA joins the Care for The Elderly Charity Ticket Campaign 2018 (“the Campaign”) to raise fund for the Association’s comprehensive and self-financed elderly social services, which include Y Care Day Care Centre for the Elderly (Yau Yat Chuen), Y Farm for Healthy Ageing, Chi Po Neighbourhood Elderly Centre and Cheung Ching Neighbourhood Elderly Centre. The Association invites your participation to help the needy!

The Association co-organised “The Visible Secret” picture storytelling workshop with Eslite Hong Kong. It was a parent-child reading session which showed the readers more about children with special educational needs (SEN).

Wachsmuth & Krogmann (Far East) volunteer team spent wonderful time with the children from the Association’s Butterfly Bay Integrated Social Service Centre for a healthy doughnut workshop.

PARKnSHOP volunteer team worked with HKYWCA to organise a day trip to the Peak and a party to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with the elders

HKYWCA Career Development and Continuing Education Department and Employees Retraining Board co-organised the Training and Career Expo that attracted more than 1,000 visitors.

J.P. Morgan volunteer team visited Cheng Pon Hing Care & Attention Home for the Elderly, to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with the elders and show them care.
