YWCA Jockey Club Family Wellness Centre implements “YWCA Jockey Club Joyful Transition with Families” to offer practical advices and emotional support to primary 6 students and their families. A video series and two board games have been created lately.

Things have changed over the century, but YWCA’s belief hold. We serve, speak for the needy, and stand by Hong Kong in her ups and downs.

The Association organised different activities under “Jockey Club Family Connect Project”, to promote family wellness and help families to establish positive communication.

The Association’s Women Affairs Department and Glocal Y co-organised the first “Friday Chat” online programme on 21 August, to discuss how the society stereotypes women about the role in the kitchen. 

Sponsored by Lee Hysan Foundation and ZeShan Foundation, the Association is pleased to join the two-year Blue Sky Project, which aims to make good use of latest technology to optimise energy efficiency, improve air quality in the centres, and save our planet. 

Invited by the Lee Kum Kee Family Foundation, the Association will conduct a series of online programmes for “HCFCare” to cheer healthcare professionals and their families up, and take care of their mental health. 

The Association’s Tai O Community Work Office invited a volunteer team to provide free haircut service for elderly living in Tai O. 

To avoid travelling long distances, Tai O residents with impaired mobility seldom leave the island. On epidemic influence, elderly stay at home for even longer yet might not be able to meet their family members elsewhere. Hence, the Association invited a volunteer team to visit the elderly and provided free haircut service.
